Today, I only managed to fit in about 10 minutes after finishing my coaching task for the day (yes, the same one. . .), but this time, I turned that into over 250 words, so I’m pretty happy with the production.
I had been thinking about what should happen next ahead of time, so that helped when I sat down to the keyboard. I was able to get right into it when I opened Scrivener. If I could do that more often, I would be a lot more efficient in this writing process, but between the pressures of work stress and trying to keep up with my family, I have been struggling to keep the story in the forefront of my mind and find time to think about it.
Maybe more than anything else, when I can find those margin times in my day, that is what I need to be thinking about, even if only to refresh myself and not let it slip.
