Today, all of my writing time – and then some – went into the coaching project that is standing between me and getting back into the plotting process.
Interestingly enough, when I have something standing between me and writing, I am easily able to dedicate extra time to it, time that I might other spend doing something relaxing or recreational. But when it comes to writing, I struggle to dedicate my relaxation time to getting back to the computer to write. I think it’s because coaching is a much less mentally taxing exercise than writing fiction and doesn’t tire me out the same way.
I hope to get to the point where writing is also not so mentally taxing, flows better, and something that I can consider to be restful rather than tiring. . .
