Recently, my wife, a composer, got frustrated that I was using cheap earbuds every day to listen to music as I write, or participate in teleconferences from home when I am teleworking, and insisted that I get a pair of headphones. They arrived yesterday and I am already enjoying them very much! With music on, I can’t hear anything around me, and they are certainly a lot more comfortable.
Now, I can write to soundtracks or white noise, and I hope that will help improve my efficiency.
For today, however, I had a proofreading step to finish for a coaching client, so sadly, I made no progress on my story. But, for now, that is the last active coaching project I have! (Of course, every time I say that, something new arrives, but we are getting close to the end of the scholarship season, so I am anticipating a decline, soon).
