After shoveling snow for 40 minutes this morning, I was concerned I wouldn’t have enough time to finish my coaching before work, but I got it done and sent! Ultimately, my (dev edit) report on the 5 page document I was sent to review ended up being over 7 pages. It needed that much work.
I do appreciate these coaching gigs and I am fortunate to have this income to bootstrap my fiction (though last year, my book sales topped my coaching income for the first time!), but I hope the next ones are a little easier.
And now, provided the client does not get back to me for the second stage (copy edit) by tomorrow, which should not be possible, I will have a day or so to try to figure out where I was in my writing process.
