Just yesterday, I wrote about being ahead of schedule with my non-fiction, but today, I have to admit that my progress on the Book 1 Project has fallen behind. I have been giving myself three writing days to get through each scene, but the current one has been a bear. First, I left myself with a mess. Then, after fighting to fix it, I had to toss the whole thing again.
Now, after three days of writing, I’m barely more than 400 words in. So, I’m going to push back and restart my count on this. . . just as soon as I get to it.
Instead of tackling that this morning, though, I had the second round of edits come in for my last coaching project. Fortunately, it was the proofreading round, and I had some extra time today, so I got it all knocked out at once. Tomorrow, I’ll be back to the writing.
