I finished the third chapter of my non-fiction book today and even though the writing itself was a little tough, it feels good to hit that milestone.
It’s not quite halfway, but I am filling out the outline and making definite progress, even as my attention is drawn more and more back to my fiction.
In the meantime, winter has come, bringing snowy steps and roads, so shoveling and a longer commute are going to eat into my writing time. I need to accept that time loss in the mornings and figure out how to make up for it in other parts of my life. Perhaps it is finally time to get that mobile Scrivener app I’ve been thinking about for so many years . . . and also commit to using it.
