Non-Fic: Scrivener Compile Settings – Author Dad

Non-Fic: Scrivener Compile Settings

When my old computer died last September and I had to get a new one, I lost all of the custom compilation settings that I had for Scrivener, something I only realized today when I tried to export my document to PDF for the first draft review. Since this is the third book in a series, I need to make sure that my formatting is consistent with previous books, so I’ve been going back in to tinker with it.

Of course, as I type this, I realized that I do all of my final formatting using html and Calibri, so I don’t actually need to mess with any of this right now. But I did at least have to get the settings out of Courier New double-space. That was going to take up a massive amount of paper.

I eventually got a pdf out in readable format, so I’ll be printing that later today (not using my home printer for that – it would kill all of the ink at once! – so I can start taking the editing pen to it.

Take part in the journey!
