I am going to have to do something about my writing schedule after I only managed to get down a single paragraph today.
We have been getting pounded with snow – though admittedly not nearly as bad as some other places inland and to the south – and shoveling out the door and cars each day takes quite a bit of time. It wasn’t so bad during vacation, when I could take care of it leisurely at some point in the mid-morning or afternoon, but now that work days are back and I need to be able to leave the house successfully at 7:30, that’s a whole different story. Even doing the minimum to create a walkway to the two cars and brushing off the roofs today took me nearly 30 minutes, leaving about 5 minutes left to write once I took care of everything else.
There’s now way I’ll be able to finish anything at that pace.
I’m going to need to find time at some other point in the day. For now, I’m going to target lunch at work and hope that goes well!
