Non-Fic: Stupid Failure to Remember What I’m Doing

I took two days in a row to work on my fiction, because it was a weekend and I had more time. I really wanted to use that time to contribute to what mattered to me.

But as a consequence, I forgot that my conclusion from my last day of non-fiction writing was that it had become a mess and I needed to go back and re-outline it.

So, today, I launched in as if I was going to keep writing and promptly got lost, started repeating myself, and jumping back and forth to see if I could get things to make sense.

I only remembered again as I fired up this blog at the end of my writing session that I had meant to go fix that outline problem. I think I need to get some post-it notes so I don’t keep doing this to myself.
