The example section that was going so well the other day ground to a screeching halt today as I tried to tackle the STEM research example. I fear I do not have enough expertise in that field to come up with something useful. I did have a research topic that I borrowed from a theme that I saw come up with several of my coaching clients last year, and I thought that would be enough. But as I started researching, I realized I didn’t know enough about the field in general to know where that topic fit.
That problem led me down a short research rabbit hole as I encountered more and more terminology that I didn’t understand. I was about to declare the whole thing a loss and cut the stem example entirely, but at the last minute, I remembered: My examples are about the process, not the specific results. So, hopefully, even if the actual details are a little off, describing the process I go through is going to be enough.
I hope.
I’ll try to tackle this again with a fresh mind next time.
