Non-Fic: End of Self-Quarantine and Another Outline Challenge

I took the day off writing yesterday. After a week of self-quarantine following a business trip, it was my first chance to see my family in 9 days and I wasn’t about to shut myself away in my office. I only get to stay here for 5 days anyway before another trip and quarantine (and the kids are already say about that).

Today, I got back to it in the morning, starting in on the next chapter of the non-fiction book. But just like the mess I ran into with the earlier chapters, I did not have an outline for this part, just a bunch of notes thrown into the chapter folder. So before I write, it’s time to come up with a coherent structure so that I don’t run into the same problem from last time.

So far, that’s been slow going, with only a part of the chapter outlined and organized, as I consider how to present this information for easiest consumption, but the work I put in now is going to pay dividends with writing pace later, if that last 7k day was any indication!

Take part in the journey!
