B1P Day 19: Worse Stagnation than Yesterday – Author Dad

B1P Day 19: Worse Stagnation than Yesterday

So, my goal was to get through my current coaching assignment (and the one scheduled after that) as efficiently as possible in order to get back to my fiction. Of course, I’m not putting any less emphasis on these projects, I’m just trying to not waste time!

But today, even that goal got thrown off course. A commenter on my blog pointed out that some important advice I was giving about eligibility for the scholarship was out of date and had changed last year without my noticing. Even worse – though the commenter didn’t know it – that old advice is also present in one of my books!

I can’t just leave that old, misleading information up, especially for people who have paid for my book. So, I had to pour some time into updating the article, updating the autoresponder than goes with my book, and also emailing everyone on both my mailing lists for the blog and book about the change.

This is why I didn’t continue down the non-fiction route and want to focus on fiction in the future!

Thanks to all of that, I barely made any progress on the coaching review and it will be another day tacked on to the work I have to do before I can get back to my novel.

Take part in the journey!
