B1P Day 214: Visualization 16/42 – Author Dad

B1P Day 214: Visualization 16/42

In terms of scene progress, my hero has accepted the call and the group is approaching its first challenging escape. The trick with these scenes is that my hero is the weakest member of the group but I still have to make her the agent of the action. This is almost exactly where my first attempt at this story came to a screeching halt.

I have to make her be the one that decides, even if the others have to do the legwork. That’s they key, I think. Of course, she’s also the least prepared to make the decisions, but if I keep the other two characters at each others’ throats, then she’ll have no choice but to step in and mediate. At least, that’s the hope. Mediation isn’t exactly her thing, but solving problems is.

Take part in the journey!
