Today, I finally started the writing process in Heritage – the rewrite of this long-running fiction process. It took a while of staring at the blank page to get going with the actual words, but I got 300 words down in the first scene, at least. It’s a start and something to build off!
As I write this for the second time, I’m trying to worry less about the writing as I go on. I went through the whole process of visualizing each scene in the book before, and now I just want to go record them. Just get it down. Don’t worry about how a reader might see it or anything else. I’m going to get the story down for me and not stop until the whole thing is down.
