B1P Day 251: Still No Rhythm

I am still struggling to get into an efficient writing rhythm and only got about 200 words done today.

I lost some time this morning because I wanted to order an author copy of my non-fiction book from Ingram Spark to check it out, but found that the book had been held up from production. There was no information besides the note “on hold” and zero indication anywhere on their site or in their help articles about what that means or how I can resolve it. It said it could occur if I had requested a pricing change, but since I haven’t I cannot figure out what might be the issue.

Dealing with that frustration cost me about 20 minutes, leaving very little left for writing. I used that time to go back through the words from yesterday, touch them up a little, then try to add a little more. I was actually feeling pretty good about the writing, but simply ran out of time before I had to get going to prepare for work.

I hope that I can maintain that pace next time I pick up the book!

Take part in the journey!
