I forgot to set my alarm last night. That usually doesn’t matter, since I almost always wake up before it, but I must have been particularly tired last night, because I ended up sleeping in until 5:30. Losing 30 minutes this morning killed most of the time I have to write, and coaching-related stuff ate the rest. I had a number of inquiries and follow-up questions from previous clients to respond to and before I knew it, it was time to stop writing and get to breakfast.
It looks like at least one of my clients will be sending me the updated draft for the proofread step today, so I’m anticipating a delay before I can get back to my story, yet again. That one day writing yesterday was nice while it lasted!
On the other hand, I have had a few cool things happen related to my nonfiction blog, books, and coaching. While everything over there is on a tiny scale, I sold six books in a day on Amazon, a personal record, and someone asked to interview me on their podcast, which is quite exciting. I’ll share more on that if it actually happens.
