In general, I suck at graphics. It’s the part of blogging and writing that I dread the most. I tend to skip over images when I’m reading, so I don’t really know what other people expect from them. It stresses me out to be working on something without knowing if it’s even worthwhile, so I have resisted spending time improving my graphic design ability.
Today’s graphic project was different. It wasn’t a creative image, but rather updating a sample application form graphic. It’s part of the next article that I have to update for my blog, about the application form for the scholarship. Fortunately, the application form itself has not changed in the past two years, so I did not have to do anything fancy, just updating the years from the previous version to keep it up to date. Updating text boxes is not a problem!
Now, I just have to export it into the formats that I need for the sample and I can get back to work on the parts of the project that I do want to focus on: writing the article.
