And hopefully the last one for this year. Once I get this article updated and scheduled, then I should effectively be done with the scholarship article updates at least until next year’s cycle rolls around.
In the meantime, I want to update my two older books, double-checking the content and also making the formatting pretty like the third one. Once I have that done, I’ll be able to put them together in an omnibus edition to promote before next year’s application cycle. And that’s really all I have planned now for my non-fiction career. I have commented here multiple times that there is no financial future in that area. Simply put, I am writing materials for scholarship applicants who are applying because they do not have excess income to pay for their educations! Not the best target audience for a business, even if I am in a unique position to help them.
Any writing future lies in fiction, but man, I am still struggling there! Right now, it is largely a mental struggle to allow myself to write. If I can overcome that to finish one story, then I’ll be able to move on to the step of working with a dev editor to fix it up and hopefully get the book ready for release into the world.
