After the coaching yesterday, I probably should have gone back to the fiction today, but I want to get this non-fiction out as quickly as possible, and the finish line for that project is much more clear, so I skipped back to it.
Today, I got all of the remaining edits typed in to Scrivener. I’ve also taken the plunge with ProWritingAid, buying a lifetime subscription (through Joanna Penn’s affiliate link) and have started to try to figure out how to use that software for the next pass of my book. There’s a little bit of a learning curve here, but even as I’ve been trying to figure out the settings, it has already identified a few issues for me.
Unfortunately, I got to start using PWA right at the end of today’s writing session, which means that I barely got to play with it at all. That’s annoying with any bit of new gear, but I’ll have to tackle it again later this weekend.
Once I go through that pass, I’ll read the book out loud for my final editing pass, then it will be time for all the joy of formatting and creating the bonus materials!
